I don’t know what I would do without their unfaltering sense of security, their words of wisdom and their grace through it all.

I am truly #blessed with the greatest parents I could ever ask for.

It hasn’t always been easy.

I haven’t always been the best kid. I have gone through phases in my life as do most of us.

I was conceited and ungrateful. I was less than an excellent student. I was having too much fun when I probably should’ve been getting it together (but hey, here I am).

I’ve led a life in which everything I have wanted to pursue has been made readily available to the best of their ability. A life in which I have been loved, forgiven and loved some more.

Throughout everything, my parents have always been there. Whether it’s a phone call, a text or doing my hair for hours on end (oddly specific, thanks mom), they have been there through it all. They support me in my decisions and help me along the way. They understand that I am living my life and need to do what’s best for me, yet they always provide a voice of reason to complement.

They have been everything I need in my life and more. They offer the perfect complements to my passion for life and big dreams.

They are caring, loving and a hell of a good time.

They are mine.

This isn’t a competition or meant to compare. I won’t tell you that I have the best parents in the world or that mine are better than anyone else’s.

What I will tell you, though, is that mine are the best ones for me.
