I Often Dream

I often dream.

I often dream of many things, different things, all at once.

I often dream so much that I become overwhelmed. I often worry that my dreams aren’t big enough, that they are too big, that they aren’t good enough.

I often dream of many things.

I often dream of myself living in New York, wearing heels and a high waisted skirt, surrounded by lights and auditioning for shows.

I often dream of myself in Montana, living in a one bedroom house and writing for an outdoor magazine.

I often dream of myself in a studio apartment in Boston, working at a PR firm and going to pubs and baseball games at night.

I often dream of myself in Reno, contributing to the growth of the city, leaving a footprint everywhere I go.

I often dream of myself becoming certified to teach ballet in London, while writing a novel on the side.

I often dream of myself sitting in a coffee shop in any place, writing and reading whilst surrounded by strangers.

I often dream of myself in the woods, surrounded by solitude.

I often dream of myself traveling the world, I often dream of myself settling down.

I often dream of all of this, and I often dream of a lot more.

I often dream, and that’s okay.

Because these dreams have turned into goals. These options have turned into possibilities.

I want to do it all, but that’s not possible.

But whatever I do, it will be it all. It will be enough. Because it will be lived to it’s greatest potential, it will be lived with a dream.

It will be a dream.
